Beware of Winter 2013

Posted on Dec 13, 2013

The snowy weather on Sunday, December 8th, 2013 created difficult driving conditions in D.C., Maryland and Virginia. The icy roads led to serious car accidents by drivers who didn’t take these conditions into account and drive more carefully on highways like I-81 in Maryland, which caused serious accidents involving five tractors. In Virginia as well, there were several accidents reported because of the icy weather and drivers who didn’t respect it.

Be careful this winter! Past reports and studies have shown that 70% of winter weather deaths in the US are caused by icy road accidents!
